With views out across rolling fields, this impressive stone Aberdeenshire holiday house has been renovated to offer airy, stylish accommodation for large groups of guests.

This bright, spacious and attractive property is set in a delightful spot in the heart of the Aberdeenshire countryside. Offering cosy accommodation for up to 14 guests and two dogs, the house makes a wonderful base for exploring this breathtaking region, and features a private hot tub for you to relax in. Lovingly restored, this is a perfect holiday home for a family or a group of friends looking for a tranquil getaway.

Set over three levels, this stylish property has ample space for you to all unwind and socialise. The stylish and fully-equipped kitchen/diner forms the hub of the house, with a large table for you all to gather round and enjoy a favourite meal whilst chatting about the day's adventures. There's also a light and inviting lounge with plenty of comfortable seating and a traditional wood burner. The charming dining room is perfect for more formal occasions or celebrations. The property features seven light and airy bedrooms – a mix of twin, double and king-size rooms, all with en-suite facilities: two bedrooms can be found on the ground floor, one on the first floor, and the four remaining rooms on the second floor. Outside, there's a large private but unfenced garden with a private hot tub and a seating area or take a walk down to the nearby pool house and enjoy a dip in the heated pool.

The picturesque village of Methlick (3.5 miles) has a number of shops and places to eat and drink and makes an ideal starting point for exploring this lovely region. The popular city of Aberdeen is within easy reach (26 miles) or you can take your four-legged friends to the glorious Aden Country Park (11.5 miles) or to stunning coastal destinations such as Newburgh Beach (14.5 miles). Your canine companions are also welcome to help you explore the grounds at Fyvie Castle (11.5 miles), Tolquhoun Castle (8 miles) and Haddo House (5 miles).

What an amazing place so much fun we had a fantastic time . The place was great veiws were amazing and Hosts were so accommodating and helpful. Access to the swimming pool, log burners, hot tub and the grounds give everyone so much room to have fun or relax at the same place Kitchen equipment and rooms were all excellent and well equipped I'd defiRead morenitely recommend Newton House to any group who are going up that way. We had an amazing stay at Newton House for my mums 70th birthday. Well equipped kitchen, very comfortable lounge area, more than enough room for us all. We had use of the pool, just a short drive away, which the kids loved. Both Tracy and Edward were in contact before and during our stay. Edward was extremely welcoming. Family and friends all enjoyed their stay at Newton House. It looks rather dated from outside, but inside is very warm and welcoming, especially with the aga in the kitchen, my favourite room where we held several meals around the kitchen table. All guests had their own room and ensuite bathroom so could not ask for any better facilities. Our son wRead moreas being married at Schivas Steading, so the house was very conveniently located right next door, where we could easily organise last minute details. Hide

We had a very enjoyable holiday in Newton House which had excellent facilities for our large family gathering. The property is situated in a very quiet and beautiful location convenient for the beach and also inland walks around the NT properties which are situated very close by. We will be coming back.

Place was beautiful and location Was surprised that the cleanliness wasn't to a high standard for the price, there was sticky handles and we had to clean some surfaces.

A fantastic stay for my mams 60th birthday all 13 of us enjoyed it, the added extra of the pool was fantastic for the kids, the surrounding area was lovely, we will be coming back

Excellent house, amazing location and perfect hosts. Cant recommend this house enough! Holiday break with family here and we all loved it. The house was great and we made the most of the beaches and walks close by.

Newton House is very spacious. It can accommodate 14 people. Its in a very good location with beautiful countryside surrounding it. The house was very clean and it was great having each bedroom with an en-suite.
