Gorgeous stye and charm welcomes you back to relax and unwind after days in the great outdoors and the garden is perfect for al fresco treats in the sun.

Follow the garden path or head inside via the front door and make your way into the inviting lounge/diner where tufty tails can stretch out on the rug and owners can find a comfortable spot on the sofa. Great for sociable evenings, keep an eye on your pup’s whereabouts whilst laying the table for delicious homecooked feasts or sipping chilled tipples in the enclosed garden. The kitchen has plenty of space for the treat jar and has a vibrant fridge which adds zesty colour to the room. After a final treat before bed, say good night to those with tails and make your way into one of the first-floor double bedrooms which boast gorgeous style with splashes of colour.

Go in search of the Loch Ness monster and scout out the beautiful waters which are backed by dramatic landscapes and scenery (13 miles). After a stretch of your legs and a morning walkies with your pups, take to the city of Inverness (3 miles) for a spot of retail therapy and a tasty meal. Board a boat trip with your pups by your heels or hire your own and act as Captain for the day. For a dog-free trip, visit the botanic gardens or stick together and venture into the Cairngorms National Park (30 miles).

We stayed in Nessies Nest for 5 nights recently. It is exactly as the pictures show. It is lovely decorated, clean, warm, comfortable and has everything you need. The area is great, bus stop at top of road to go into town and a 24 Asda down the road. Allison who owns the house couldn't have been anymore helpful. This stay was amazing! Very beautiful house, with a relaxed surrounding. Everything was there, nothing was missed. Asda is only a short walk away. My dogs loved it too, the enclosed garden the most! Can only recommend it to any one going to the North of Scotland!

An absolute gem of a property, in a fantastic location close to the town centre. House was spotless, beautifully decorated and there was a little welcome hamper of milk, chocolate etc in the fridge when we arrived. As a family with 2 young kids it had everything we could have needed and more, the garden was a lovely bonus and storage for our bikes.Read more Would highly recommend and we will be staying again soon! I can highly recommend Nessies Nest for a holiday in the Highlands. A great base, well located, clean and very comfortable. Alison is a great host, very responsive and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Nessies Nest was really great and Allison should be commended for her property and her attention to detail and kindness towards her guests did not go unnoticed. The house is well presented and welcoming. The shower over the bath was fab and having hot water around the clock was a real treat. We would highly recommend Nessies Nest , the house was immaculate , the bed was very comfortable . The house was lovely & warm. The kitchen was well equipped and Alison had left some goodies for us, we stayed Christmas & New Year so there was a small Christmas tree up, which was a lovely touch. Asda was a 5 minute walk , we also used the bus a few Read moretimes to go into Inverness, they run about one an hour or it is about a 10 minute drive by car. There were fields across the road for the dogs to run. Hide

This is a tastefully decorated, well-equipped and comfortable property. My son and I, our two dogs thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Inverness, the enclosed garden was so useful, we found all the places we wanted to visit were within a reasonable distance - Loch Ness, just a few miles away! Shopping is very easy with Asda on the doorstep and two big TRead moreescos within a mile or so... We had a fabulous 2 weeks at Nessie's Nest. Lovely house with everything you need and very clean. Totally enclosed garden which was great for our dogs and us too. Great location to explore the Highlands, with Loch Ness on your doorstep. Woods, water falls, rivers and beaches all around 30 mins away, great for walkies. We really enjoyed our holiday at Nessies Nest a beautiful house. Beautifully decorated and everything you need for a holiday. Well situated for visiting north east and west highlands. We would certainly come back again.

The cottage is situated on a housing estate which is ideal for Inverness town centre and your only an hour from long sandy beaches a great base The cottage was immaculately clean and homely the dog treats a bonus which included a ball,everything is thought about , we would definitely stay again
