This cosy detached bungalow is situated less than 100 yards from the banks of the River Teifi, on the fringes of the charming village of St Dogmaels, deep in the Pembrokeshire countryside.

Situated half a mile from the village of St Dogmaels on the estuary of the River Teifi in West Wales, this single-storey property sleeps two guests as well as two of their four-legged friends. The riverside is less than 100 metres from the property’s front door; a gentle stroll along it will bring you to the village centre and on towards the historic town of Cardigan, 2 miles away.

The open-plan living area comprises a lounge/kitchen/diner which has been finished with personal touches to give it a comfortable and homely atmosphere. To the rear of the property, the enclosed garden is mainly gravelled and is a great spot for enjoying al fresco drinks whilst your puppy pals sniff around and stretch their legs.

Walking from this property, you can easily reach St Dogmaels village centre where you can find a choice of places to eat, several of which are idyllically situated on the riverside. The river meanders east from here to Cardigan, or north towards the beach at Poppit Sands, part of which is open to dogs throughout the year, ensuring that your canine companion can experience the joys of the sea wind in his fur and the waves lapping at his paws even during the height of summer. Less than 50 metres from the front door of the property, you can discover splendid walks along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, where a bus runs at convenient times allowing you pick it up at the end of a day of walking.

The location is great, as a base and the cottage is comfortable. We did have issues and these were passed to the owner to action as she sees fit. There is problems with the internet and there was no BBQ, if these are not available, they should be removed from the description.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable and a very quiet location, walking distance to Poppits beach, which is great for dogs. The negatives are that the internet is rubbish, the shower needs updating, needs an electric power shower. No information on local facilities, walks etc..

Lovely little bungalow in a very good location, ideal location to enjoy all that Cardiganshire has to offer. St Dogmaels is a very pretty village and being so near to a lovely doggy beach at Poppit Sands was prefect.

The cottage was ideally located close to the estuary and was very peaceful. It was nice to be out of town and yet with a good pub a few hundred yards away. It had it's own parking which was handy and all in all the cottage was what was required for a quiet get away.
