A fabulously quirky reversed living cottage with a spectacular roof terrace and views across the River Fowey, the perfect escape for families and groups looking to relax by the Cornish coast.

Located in Golant, a popular village among locals and visitors on the picturesque upper reaches of the River Fowey. Once here immerse yourself in village life and meet friendly locals going about their business in this peaceful Cornwall setting. Enjoy stunning walks following the river as it meanders downstream. Visit the impressive Restormel Castle and the harbour towns of Fowey and Charlestown. Just a stones’ throw away is Fowey, boasting some restaurants and individual boutiques. Slightly further afield is Charlestown featured in the Poldark series, a perfect place for lunch or to relax on the quay. Attractions in the area include the Eden Project, The Ship Wreck Centre, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Poldark Mine, St Michaels Mount and National Trust properties including nearby Lanhydrock House.

Entering the cottage via the ground floor into a hallway with room for hats and coats, on your left, you will find the main bathroom with a free-standing bath with handheld shower attachment and WC. Heading out into the hall you will come to the first of three bedrooms: the first is the master bedroom with king-size with Smart TV and en-suite with WC, and an outdoor private hot water shower. The perfect tropical-feeling paradise to wash away the day. The next room offers a double with views over the River Fowey and a utility room that houses the washing machine and tumble dryer. Lastly, the final bedroom is a good size twin. Heading upstairs to the first floor you will enter the fantastic and unique open-plan kitchen/dining/living room complete with two electric ovens, electric hob, and microwave. The dining area houses a stunning breakfast bar that was originally an old wheel that comfortably seats eight, creating a fabulous sociable space to meet. The lounge area boasts stunning sea views, a projector with Netflix and a cosy wood burner, making it the perfect place to relax and watch a movie or simply enjoy the surroundings.

Accessed via the lounge area through bi-fold doors is a fantastic, enclosed roof terrace with stunning views of the River Fowey and garden furniture. There is private off-road parking for two cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
