Lead the way to new adventures in both Devon and Cornwall from this converted barn in a fabulous rural setting near Bude. One dog can bring his four humans here to explore the walking routes available right on the doorstep and the activities in surrounding areas.
Arriving at this pretty cottage, you will notice it is on a working family farm, set among the Devon countryside. A private garden features a gazebo, summer house, garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ so you can all enjoy an evening soaking up the rural life while your canine companion snoozes at your feet. Inside, there is a cosy lounge with Smart TV and DVD for when the evenings are too chilly for sitting outside. The open-plan kitchen and dining area is fully equipped with everything you may need to cook up a storm and entertain. There is also a downstairs WC for ease.
It’s 8 miles to Bude where you will find shops, restaurants, pubs and eateries as well as plenty of beaches. Sandymouth Bay, Widemouth Bay and Duckpool Beach allow dogs off the lead all year round. 10 miles from the property is Tamar Lakes, just over the Cornwall border. Here, there are a variety of activities to take part in such as watersports and angling, but for the non-adrenaline seekers and four-legged members of the group, it is a brilliant place to walk, admire the scenery and enjoy a hot coffee at one of the dog-friendly cafes. Further over the Cornish border, you can reach many idyllic traditional fishing villages such as Tintagel, 23 miles away and Port Isaac, 29 miles away.
