This flexible and dog-friendly property is an ideal base for walkers and cyclists in search of a peaceful setting just a stone’s throw from exciting Durham.

Boasting an enclosed lawn and a BBQ just waiting to be fired up, spend days relaxing inside or out in this humble abode. Welcoming your tufty-pawed, floppy-eared canine companions too, enjoy a break all together and escape the everyday. Plenty of space means you can stretch out in style after days spent exploring the local walkways, eateries and shops.

Step inside and snuggle down in the bright lounge. Spacious and full of natural light, this is a great spot in which to unwind with a good book or your favourite TV program. Give furry tums a tickle before heading through into the open-plan kitchen/diner to rustle up some snacks. The contemporary style in this room welcomes you to experiment with flavour and enjoy cooking up a storm before plating up and savouring every mouthful. Should the sun shine, enjoy a tipple outside and raise a glass to holidaying with loved ones. Upstairs, the two bedrooms are delightfully decorated and invite you to slip into peaceful dreams. Wake up and enjoy a soak in the bath before planning the day’s adventures. There is off-road parking for two cars at this property.

Just 9 miles from bustling Durham, plan a day trip here and visit all that this gorgeous city has to offer. Wander the botanical gardens, explore the cathedral or pop into the Oriental Museum and observe the ancient artefacts. Staying much closer to home, pop on a lead, throw on your boots and take to the surrounding countryside for walks, stick chases and a game of fetch to blow the cobwebs away.
