A refurbished cottage located on a 5-acre smallholding, just a few miles from the Devonshire market town of Holsworthy and the Cornish seaside resort of Bude, just a few miles from the Devonshire market town of Holsworthy and the Cornish seaside resort of Bude.

This charming holiday property is brilliantly located for a getaway exploring both Devon and Cornwall, coast and countryside. A trip to this magical corner of the country wouldn’t be complete without your scampering pups by your side so bring your four-pawed companions along to have a ball. Relax in style and enjoy the dog-friendly features which make your stay that little bit easier.

Find yourself in the heart of this single-storey home and settle in right away. First things first, find a good spot for tasty treats which is out of eyesight for those with wagging tails. Once you’ve stocked the cupboards with provisions, take a moment to unwind on the comfortable corner sofa which sits amid light, tranquil tones by patio doors. When hungry noses sniff the air, the kitchen area has all your chosen chef needs to rustle up tit bits and meals for all or you could enjoy sizzling treats on the BBQ (garden reached via steps). Post-adventure, give soggy fur a spruce in the dog washing facility. Pups are treated to deluxe doggy shampoo to ensure a gleaming coat to parade on tomorrow’s stick chasing frolic in the exercise paddock. Owners can freshen up in the bathroom with shower over the bath before drifting off in one of two charming bedrooms decorated in calming colours. Here is parking for two cars.

Plan a beach day filled with sea swims, stick hunting and picnic nibbling at one of the north coast’s dog-friendly beaches including Northcott Mouth Beach (10.5 miles), Sandymouth Bay (8.5 miles) or Duckpool Beach (9 miles). Treat your tastebuds and tuck into a well-earnt portion of tasty fish and chips after a stint on the South West Coast Path. Venture across the border into Devon and explore the rugged coastline at Hartland (11.5 miles), Welcombe (8.5 miles) or Clovelly (12 miles).

Everything about the cottage was outstanding. The dog really enjoyed the garden, and there was nice grass for her to walk. The dog bath was an inspiration, and much needed to get rid of the mud and sand. Lovely welcome scones, and milk and eggs, thank you.
