This attractive one bedroom property is one of four properties, converted from former farm buildings nestled on a large 140-acre farm deep within the unique Cornwall countryside.
This delightful retreat in the Cornish countryside is a great place for you and your four-legged friend to escape the hectic pace of everyday life and enjoy long (or short) countryside or coastal rambles. Four of Cornwall’s stunning Heritage Coasts offering a variety of walks with stunning views are within easy reach of this property’s convenient location. The one storey conversion occupies a quiet, secluded location but is still close to local shops and pubs. You and your dog will never get tired of throwing and fetching sticks in this amazing place.
Sympathetically converted, the stone exterior blends in seamlessly with its surroundings. Contemporary décor and spacious accommodation on the inside allows both two-legged and four-legged guests to enjoy a comfortable stay. The well-proportioned open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area is ample for two guests and the vaulted ceilings and exposed beams add character and height to the space. High ceilings and neutral tones continue in the double bedroom and the shower room is also roomy. The hard floors throughout mean there’s no need to worry about muddy pawprints on the carpet. Outside, your dog can enjoy a good sniff around the enclosed garden.
A wealth of walks across the rugged Lizard Peninsular (17 miles) await you, or you could opt to join the South West Coast Path as there’s nothing better than feeling the sea breeze in your hair/fur. To the south of the property, there are many beautiful beaches including Porthleven (8 miles) and Praa Sands (11.5 miles) - be sure to check any dog bans that may be in place. The National Trust’s historic and dog-friendly St Michael’s Mount is another must, which can be accessed from Marazion (11 miles) by foot or by boat depending on the tides. Heading north, you can enjoy the wonders of St Ives Bay.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
