Overlooking the estuary, this pretty property is just a short drive from the North Cornwall coast and has been lovingly refurbished in 2018 to provide a relaxing and comfortable base for families and couples.
It’s time to pack Molly’s suitcase and jump in the car for a fun family holiday in stunning North Cornwall. This refurbished cottage, with room for up to six people as well as two dogs, is perfect if you’re a family or group of friends keen to holiday alongside your beloved pets. You’ll be perfectly placed for long, doggy-pleasing walks on sandy beaches at Bedruthan Steps (12 miles) and Watergate Bay (12.5 miles). Spend long days exploring the delights of the scenic Camel Estuary before returning to your holiday home.
The cottage has a stylish interior with tasteful nautical-inspired artwork and artefacts dotted around. In the spacious kitchen, cook up a feast to enjoy together around the table before relaxing for the evening in front of the Smart TV. The dog will love dozing off stretched out on her favourite blanket (if you didn’t fur-get to pack it, that is). Patio doors lead to an enclosed garden – this space is ideal for Molly to run around in while you relax with a book on the patio, which is equipped with a table and chairs.
The property is located in a rural spot 5 miles from Padstow, a popular coastal town with a pretty harbour – head there for morning coffee and a look around before taking the dog on a long walk around the estuary. For a fun day out, take Molly on a steam train aboard the Bodmin & Wenford Railway. Make sure you get a pic of her waiting on the 1950s-style platform at Bodmin (10 miles) before embarking on the 13-mile journey through scenic countryside.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
