The quiet village of Marwood is wonderfully situated close to bustling towns and a handful of beaches where picnics, stick-fetching and sunset-chasing will blow the cobwebs away and have you and your four-legged friend feeling refreshed and revived.

Cosy up in front of the fire in the lounge/dining area of this ground floor apartment. Your first basket of logs is ready and waiting (for lighting, not nibbling!). After rustling up a delicious meal in the well-equipped kitchen, dine in style at the table which overlooks the magnificent Marwood Hill Gardens. After dinner, enjoy a stroll around the gardens and let your furry friend sniff and scurry to their heart’s content. Sleep well in the calming bedroom which is elegantly decorated, before waking up and enjoying a cup of tea or a tail chase. Feast your eyes on your beautiful surroundings and lap the lake to stretch your legs.

Step foot outside of your idyllic dwelling and explore the abundance of spots nearby where you and your canine companions can have a ball. Jump over waves and discover driftwood for chewing and chasing at Saunton Sands, 9 miles from home. Venture onto the South West Coast Path at Baggy Point, 11 miles away, for a well-trodden route and treat yourself to a cream tea and a tasty treat. Slightly further afield, Lynton and Lynmouth, 19 miles away, are the perfect places to enjoy fish and chips on the harbour after riding the cliff railway.

The property was very expensive for what we got. it felt tired and smelt fusty. Disappointed

The apartment has everything you need. On arrival there is a loaf bread,a pint of milk teabags and a little butter waiting for you. I think this a lovely touch. The views are amazing and the apartment it's self is very comfortable and homely. We very much enjoyed our time at Marwood hill garden apartment, I would also like to add how much our littlRead moree dog Poppie enjoyed it too. Hide
