Golfers will be spoilt for choice between the Kirriemuir (13 miles), Forfar (19 miles), Rosemount (30 miles), Alyth (23 miles), Blairgowrie (30 miles) and Carnoustie (31.5 miles), all within easy driving distance. Or, to discover some local history, head for Kirriemuir (13 miles), the birthplace of J M Barrie.
