Full of rustic charm and sympathetically furnished to retain character, this delightful property sits in a tranquil area, with some stunning sandy bays just a few miles away.

With so many character features, this rural cottage has a distinct homely feel thanks to the well-kept beams, original flagstone floors in the entrance hall and kitchen and eye-catching wood burners. The property's nearby location to the A39 and North Cornwall coast lends itself to being in a prime position for exploring all the area has to offer, whilst enjoying the tranquillity of a rural hamlet. Just a few miles away from the bay of Crackington Haven, the property is also closely situated to the seaside resort of Bude where you will find sandy beaches, an indoor leisure pool, boating canal, golf course, tennis and a selection of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Other places of interest in the area are the picturesque fishing villages of Boscastle, Port Isaac, Padstow and Clovelly. Countryside walks can be taken from the property and you may be able to spot some of the local wildlife from the cottage including pheasants, deer or the resident bats.

Entering the cottage, you immediately feel at home thanks to the warm and welcoming furnishings and décor of the lounge/dining area. This long room has oak flooring and benefits from two wood burners, one at either end, ensuring a cosy atmosphere when relaxing in there on the comfortable sofas, watching the TV/DVD. The dining table at the other side of the room is suitable for up to eight people, perfect for big dinners with family or friends. Two steps down from the lounge/dining room lead to the ground floor single bedroom. The small rustic kitchen can be accessed from the dining area as well as from the entrance hall. The kitchen has solid oak units, a range style electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and Belfast sink.  Also on the ground floor is a family bathroom with a shower over the bath, WC and the washing machine. Upstairs there are three further light and airy bedrooms, all lovingly decorated and all containing a TV. The first has a double bed plus an en-suite shower room with WC, the second has a king-size bed, and the third room has twin beds. All of the rooms feature attractive beams and are sympathetically furnished to blend with the style of the house.

A door from the lounge/dining room leads outside to the lovely enclosed garden area which has a patio, garden furniture, BBQ and spacious lawn area. There is also ample off-road parking available.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
