Sleeping four guests and one pup pal, this romantic and family-friendly cottage is perfectly placed for adventures in North Devon, just a few miles from Bideford. Enjoy the pretty planting and make plans for the day while your hound recharges in the enclosed courtyard garden. You’ll find a pub within walking distance, shops nearby (3 miles), and Buck’s Mills Beach a short drive away (5 miles).

 

Step inside this cosy detached cottage and relax after a long journey on the cosy sofas while your pup pal hogs the space by the toasty wood burner (first basket of logs included). Rustle up family meals in the characterful kitchen and dining area, the perfect place to make plans for new daily adventures. When slumber falls, take two steps down to the cosy bedrooms, a country-style king-size bedroom, and a twin bedroom, plus a contemporary-style family bathroom. There’s also a separate WC. Throw open the French doors in the living room and step down to enjoy breakfast on the enclosed garden patio where there’s a suntrap for Rex to enjoy before a family day out.

 

Enjoy shoreside fun at Buck’s Mills Beach (5 miles). Visit the traditional fishing village of Clovelly (7.5 miles) where its cobbled main street is pottered by paw, foot, hoof and sledge. For dog-approved cliff views, visit Hartland Heritage Peninsula (12 miles), while Westward Ho! offers 3 miles of family-friendly sand, plus a dog-friendly area near Northam Burrows. Green-fingered guests and eco-loving pooches will be inspired by the kitchen garden and sustainability ethos at Tapeley Park (9 miles). On rainy days, take children to The Milky Way adventure park, or source delicious market treats in the hill-top town of Great Torrington (12 miles).

This is a lovely cottage which has everything you could want and more. Lovely touch when we arrived, fresh milk and a basket of goodies. good base location and next door to lovely pub selling excellent food

Logans cottage exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful, fully equipped and wanted for nothing. The welcome gifts were really appreciated, too, thank you. The recommendations of places to visit and eat were so helpful. We found somewhere new to visit each day, it was wonderful. We had a lovely stay at Logans cottage. Situated in a really good location in North Devon, not far from many popular tourist sites such as Westward Ho!, Clovelly, Bude and more. Plenty of Information provided regarding the area/things to do by the owners which was useful. Plenty of pots and pans/cooking utensils which is always a bonus. Cottage was lovely but quite remote, although handy having The Bell Inn on the doorstep. Getting in and out of the driveway was fun! and I think this should be mentioned in the need to know section.

Beautiful cottage, in a lovey, friendly village. Central to everywhere. Nice welcome pack with flowers. Good communication. Very comfortable bed and sofas. Often, when you book after seeing the adverts, it doesn't live up to expectations. This pretty cottage did! However, we weren't able to enjoy the garden at all. It was overshadowed by Sycamore tRead morerees which, unfortunately at this time of year, rained down sticky sap and flowers. Picking them out of our dogs paws was a nightmare for both of us! Hide

Fabulous cottage- really comfortable and really well equipped. Immaculate and very clean. The owner had thought of everything we could possibly need. Great location too with the Bell Inn very close by which does great food. Close to Biddeford for food shopping where all the major supermarkets can be found. We had a lovely stay at Logans Cottage, location was great, was well equipped, comfy and cozy! Perfect for getting away from the rat race! Only downside for me is that there are a number of steps to contend with at the rear of the property which was a problem for myself with low mobility and also a couple of steps inside to access bathroom and bedrRead moreooms. A cosy cottage. Very well equipped, clean and comfy. The owners were very helpful and provided much appreciated directions. The Bell Inn was welcoming and served a great Sunday roast.

If the Cottage was mine as a gardener then Id remove all the shrubs along rear back wall of the property to enhance the Sunlight aspects and improve warmth. Then I am not the owner ,its just a comment .

Logans is a wonderful, extremely clean and comfortable cottage. It has modern amenities but still keeps it's charm. The bed was so comfy as were the sofas! These little things matter after walking miles each day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and visited many of North Devon's villages and gorgeous beaches with our 2 Cockapoos. Highly recommended!

A delightful cottage that is well equipped and maintained. Very convenient for local pub where we were made welcome. Good food and beer. Narrow entrance to parking at rear that has to be carefully navigated!!

Great location for exploring this part of the country. Lovely location and blissfully quiet. Many dog friendly beaches within a short drive. Pub a couple of doors down was friendly , with a good selection on the menu. Happy to recommend this cottage
