"This characterful lodge located in the very heart of the Highlands could be your adventurous retreat from which to discover all the mystery and beauty of this fantastic area. Step straight out into the wilds around Loch Ness for some once-in-a-lifetime walks with your dogs.

The lodge is a sweet wooden home, with an enclosed garden set out overlooking the stunning surrounding landscape of Cannich and the hills beyond. Inside is the heart of the cabin, a spacious open-plan area. There’s a lovely kitchen with everything you need to rustle up holiday treats, and a washing machine so you can pack light, plus a dining table perfect for four, and a cosy living area that will make you feel at home even as the wilderness beckons outside. On the same level are your two delightful bedrooms: a king-size room for some cosy indulgence in the countryside and a bunk bedroom, ideal for kids, plus a comfortable shower room so you can feel fresh even after a day in the hills.

Head into the landscape to walk, climb, cycle, ride, and make your own way through the Highlands to discover its extraordinary atmosphere. The village of Cannich, nestled between the Rivers Glass and Cannich, hosts a collection of sweet Scottish sights, including your local pub and village stores. You can even fish for trout or salmon. We absolutely loved our stay at the lodges in Cannich. For a small village, everything you need is on your doorstep. The lodge is situated in an idyllic location. The views from the patio area are so lovely you could sit there all day and evening. As the sun moves around the view changes with it . Even when it rained it was beautiful. Having the pub close by was an added bonus. We ate all our evening meals there as the owners and staff were all lovely people, andRead more the food was very good. There are lots of interesting places within easy distances and for dog owners it is very secure. We would go back again Hide

Clean and tidy property with everything you need, bed was very comfortable they even supply the bed linen and towels. You do have to pay for electric that you get on cards, worth a mention as I didnt see it in the description, used about 15 for two weeks but when you compare how much the chalet is for two weeks this is not a deal breaker. Pub on siRead morete serves good food and local beers. This was our second visit as we enjoyed it so much last time, suits us as we have 2dogs which they also allow. Hide
