Set 13 miles north of Tenby in the depths of picturesque Pembrokeshire, this beautifully bespoke cottage will have humans and hounds hankering for their holidays. Whether you’re seeking castles, countryside, coastlines, culture or cuisine, this gorgeously renovated barn should be top of your list for a secluded romantic escape. Roam the farm’s fabulous 55 acres, decamp to Narberth’s four fantastic dog-friendly pubs and explore its independent shops, ruined Norman castle, museum, pottery, eateries and art galleries (3.5 miles).

 

Inside you’ll find a light and spacious layout, with high A-frame ceilings and sunshine flooding in through skylights as well as the ground-floor windows; doggies will love to scoot around as they sniff out their new home. Gather around the Welsh slate hearth and glowing wood burner on leather sofas in the glorious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Prepare feasts of fine local fare on the range oven in the gleaming country kitchen. Dine al fresco on the enclosed rear patio and plan your thrilling Pembrokeshire adventures. Tenby is a scintillating seaside resort with a bustling harbour and twisting lanes of quirky shops, pubs, restaurants and galleries; the views from the castle are breathtaking. The cottage and location was everything we had hoped for and more; our hosts were very keen to make sure we were comfortable and happy during our stay. All of the equipment worked very well and we had a nice cosy visit. Excellent value for money.
