This fabulous coach house, in the heart of the Pembrokeshire countryside, sleeps up to four guests plus two canine companions. The county boasts over 50 beaches, so you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to letting the dogs stretch their furry feet. You’ll also be near some great dog-friendly attractions, including beautiful Pembroke Castle, and have easy access to the 186 miles of dramatic walks along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.
The detached property, set on a working farm alongside three other holiday cottages, houses a fantastic farmhouse kitchen/diner with plenty of space for all your guests, including those of the four-legged variety, to make themselves at home. In the evening, gather in the cosy lounge, with its roaring wood burner and beautiful exposed beams, to enjoy a good film or a natter over a glass of wine. The enclosed patio area allows the dogs to potter outside and cool off on hot summer afternoons or join you and your guests in the evening for a spot of al fresco dining. There’s also a handy shared laundry room, to wash and dry your dog-walking gear. (DUE TO SOCIAL DISTANCING MEASURES THIS WILL OPERATE ON A ROTA SYSTEM).
As well as Pembroke Castle (16 miles away), with its stunning views over the town, you and the dogs can also visit the fascinating ruins of Carew Castle (12 miles away). Set on a lake, the reflections are truly breathtaking, particularly at dusk and there’s a lovely circular walk. Manorbier Beach, 16 miles away, is dog friendly all year. The long sandy beach makes a perfect family day out, with plenty of opportunities for rock pooling, swimming and surfing. If you don’t fancy venturing too far, you can also explore the charming 55 acres surrounding the property and nearby Narberth (2 miles) has a great dog-friendly pub and plenty of independent shops to peruse.
