Period cottage with enclosed garden and hot tub in Snowdonia National Park, in Llan Ffestiniog close to Blaenau Ffestiniog, the perfect romantic retreat to explore North Wales countryside and culture.

This stunning property, nestled between the Manod and Moelwyn mountains in Snowdonia National Park, is ideal for a romantic getaway – with the pups in tow, of course! Sleeping you both in a beautiful bedroom with garden views and with space for up to two dogs, it won’t be long before you’re up and about and exploring the local area. Ride on the historic Ffestiniog Railway (3 miles) or go for a stroll along beach at Black Rock Sands (13 miles).

The property, which has a wonderful stone exterior, is spacious and contemporary with an open plan feel. The kitchen area is fresh and bright and makes great use of space, while the comfy sofa in the living area invites you to curl up in front of the wood burner-effect electric fire in the evening, your hounds by your feet. Upstairs, the huge bedroom is a pleasure to sleep in with calming grey and blue tones; wind down with a good book in the seating area before snuggling into the crisp, fresh linen for a tranquil night’s sleep.

Visit the village of Portmeirion (9 miles), located on a private peninsula overlooking Cardigan Bay, to explore woodland and sandy beaches with your four-legged friends. Wander around Harlech Castle (12 miles), where dogs are welcome on lower levels, or take in the views on Harlech Beach (13 miles). If you don’t fancy straying too far from your base or want a quick drink before heading home, the pub 2 miles up the road welcomes dogs.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Lovely little cottage in the heart of Snowdonia with great access to Beddgelert, Porthmadog and Snowdon mountain. Loved the quirky interior and the hot tub had great views - a little dark out there at night but if you use a phone light / torch you can manage. The basic supplies provided - tea / coffee / milk etc - and the Welsh cakes / biscuits werRead moree a nice touch which we were not expecting! The water pipes are a little noisy at night but fine once you get used to it. Hide
