Take your favourite furry friend with you when you head out to the beach from this spacious townhouse in Ramsgate. Sleeping nine guests, as well as one canine companion, the four-bedroom property is just 2 miles from dog-friendly East Cliff and 4.5 miles from Palm Bay, where furry feet can paddle all year round. Organise your group to follow a section of the 32-mile Viking Trail from the town too, with your happy hound in tow.

Open the front door to this three-storey property, hanging your pal’s lead in the hall, before calling him through to the lounge. Settle in front of the Smart TV, opening the French doors on fine days so he can pad out into the courtyard garden. Make your way into the kitchen/diner to prepare food and serve up to your hungry hound and humans alike. You also have a downstairs WC. Climb the stairs to the family bathroom and two king-size rooms, one with beds that can be arranged as twins if discussed in advance and doors onto a balcony overlooking the harbour. Venture up to the floor above to find a triple or family room, with a single and a king-size bed, plus a double bedroom, with an en-suite shower room with a WC. All the inviting bedrooms have Smart TVs. Return from exciting trips out to relax out in the fresh air of the courtyard garden before taking Rover over to the nearby Liverpool Lawns Park for a last stretch of the legs before bed.

Take your happy hound with you for a day out to scenic Pegwell Country Park, 3.5 miles away. Reculver Beach, 12 miles away, is also dog-friendly and your cheerful chum can also accompany you on an exploration of the fascinating ruins of Reculver Towers and Roman Fort.

A lovely house in a great location. The smallest bedroom is a little too small for a double bed but other than that the house was very comfortable for the 5 of us that visited and we had a lovely stay.

I loved this house. It was so pretty and bright, peaceful and extremely clean. a very short walk to the little harbour and places to eat.. nearby to the town centre with some lovely and interesting shops. the house has true charm and the location is great.

This cottage cost more than my original budget but was worth every penny. It is a lovely property, comfortable and well equipped in a central location. We always managed to find free parking close by. My young grandchildren really appreciated the TV's in the bedrooms and easily managed the walk to the beach and shops.
