Located in the heart of Eastbourne’s Old Town, this charming Victorian cottage is the perfect choice for those in search of a relaxing seaside retreat. The two-bedroom terraced property is ideal for couples or small families and their four-legged companion, who will love exploring the many local footpaths and parks in the area. With traditional pubs and independent shops on the doorstep, this cosy home is the perfect base for discovering the delights of England’s south-east coast.

This welcoming home oozes period charm and you’ll be in the holiday mood as soon as you step through the front door. After a busy day, the cosy lounge is the perfect place to curl up in front of a film while your furry pal dreams of sticks and bones at your feet. Whip up something tasty to eat in the kitchen before enjoying a meal together around the farmhouse dining table. When it’s time to rest your heads and recharge, cottage-style stairs lead up to the two inviting bedrooms. Heading outside from the kitchen/diner, let Fido roam freely in the large enclosed garden while you sit back on the patio with a glass of wine and a BBQ.

Pack a picnic and let the furry ones take the lead by visiting the South Downs National Park (5.5 miles) which has endless walks and trails to explore. For those wanting to dip their toes and paws in the sea, the nearby beaches of Holywell and Royal Parade are less than 2 miles away and welcome dogs throughout the year. If you’re feeling energetic, climb to the top of the iconic cliffs of Beachy Head (3.5 miles) for dramatic views over Eastbourne and the English Channel. Alternatively, take a stroll along Eastbourne’s bustling promenade with its newly restored Victorian pier.

We had a lovely stay in this cosy and very comfortable cottage. Location is great, bus station is only a couple of minutes walk from the house. Nice little garden too, beautiful blossoms this time of year. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable, warm and cosy. Kitchen well equipped and clean. Comfy bed, sofa reasonably comfy. Parking wasn't a problem. Nice area with walks for dogs over the golf course and up Warren hill. About 40 mins walk to seafront. Frequent buses. Waitrose close by and several different takeaways. Very secure garden for dogs.

End terrace with a large garden so was great for our dog. Well positioned for amenities. Difficult to park two out of four nights we stayed but not untypical for Eastbourne. Spotlessly clean property.
