Little Hamilton was the perfect getaway for us and had everything we were looking for... hot tub, dog friendly, good amenities and not too far from home. It was spotlessly clean and included thoughtful touches like a hamper, dog bowls and essential toiletries. It ticked all the boxes for us. There were added bonuses of a farm shop a stonesthrow awaRead morey selling wonderful local produce and an adjacent woodland which was perfect for the dog to run around in first thing before we went out for the day. Our trip was very short but we had a really lovely stay in the property. Made the most of it & stayed in to cook for the first night. Had everything we needed and felt very cosy. Owners of the house were very lovely & nice to talk to. Also wanted to take home lots of the home decor as it was so beautiful!! Wish we couldve stayed longer :)

The hosts are very pleasant and welcoming not intrusive but always willing for a chat. The dog is lovely and got on well with ours. The cottage is fabulous throughout well decorated. The welcome basket is a real treat. Were going back in August 2019 and the pool will be ready for use looking forward to it. A peaceful restful break was had.
