First-floor apartment sleeping up to four guests, situated in the artisan quarter of Eastbourne, Little Chelsea, just a short walk from the seafront and the town pier.

This lovely first-floor apartment in the heart of Eastbourne’s quirky Little Chelsea area is perfect for seaside holidays, exploring the East Sussex coast and countryside. It’s less than a mile from the apartment to Eastbourne’s popular beach, where you can enjoy long, lazy walks. Dogs are restricted during the summer months on the central part of the beach, but head to nearby Royal Parade beach for year-round paddles and walks.

Inside, you’ll find a spacious, stylish apartment for up to four people and one dog. There is a light, bright lounge/dining room with sofas, a dining table and lots of stylish vintage touches. To one side, there are two single beds, perfect for the kids, and with a curtain around them for privacy. The separate kitchen is similarly well-organised, with all the gadgets you’ll need to cook up a storm and a breakfast table where you can get planning your day’s adventures. The king-sized bedroom is neatly decorated and has double doors straight out onto the garden where there is plenty of room for the dogs to run around while you enjoy an evening drink. For cyclists, there’s a bike shed.

Little Chelsea is packed with independent shops, bars and restaurants, and is a great place to spend an afternoon simply wandering. There are also some great traditional Sussex pubs in nearby Eastbourne Old Town. Out of town, the glorious Sussex coast is yours to explore. The spectacular Beachy Head and Seven Sisters are around 5 miles away, offering almost endless walks and views. Eastbourne is the beginning of the South Downs Way, with stunning views over the valleys either side and lots of villages to explore along the trail.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Our stay in Little Chelsea was - as ever - great. We were here for the third time and we loved to leave our car standing. You can spend a week or more there and do everything on foot or use public transport. Trains and buses are within walking distance, as are the seafront, the city centre and all the interesting shops and cafs in Little Chelsea.

Nice location for younger couples/friends looking to enjoy the towns pubs, away from the hotels and main tourist spots. Good-sized lounge with a decent vinyl collection available for guest use. Small terrace area nice for drinks.

The apartment itself is perfectly equipped. Generally, the location in Little Chelsea is really good, you are in the middle of town and in a few minutes you are on the beach. 2 people can feel really comfortable in the apartment.

Lovely apartment, very well equipped and spacious. Had a quirky, cool vibe and was very central for all the local shops, bars, train station etc. Would definitely recommend and would like to return. Thanks to the owner.

Very nice well-equipped cottage in a great location. Has something that you need for your vacation. Steep stairs to the apartment and the garden, not suitable for less mobile people.

This is a good sized apartment in one of the more interesting and attractive parts of Eastbourne. Lots of restaurants within easy walking distance and a 7-11 Tesco Express within 150 yards! The apartment is well equipped and very comfortable. Access is by a fairly long and quite steep staircase to first floor level. Similarly the garden is reached Read moreby a shorter metal staircase at the rear. Wi-fi, TV etc all worked very well. Hide

Clean apartment. Great location with lots of eaterys nearby. Parking can be tricky we had to park in next road a few times.

The bathroom wasn't the cleanest and very annoying putting the parking permit on every day, but other than these little things a great holiday. quiet spacious flat, lots of building work going on in Eastbourne lots of roadworks

Lovely first floor apartment which was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for our holiday. It would easily accommodate 4 guests with the clever drop down beds in the sitting room - this room can be closed off seperately for those guests to maintain their privacy. Parking permits were provided and these were very welcome, this meant that Read morewe could make full use of the fantastic public transport in the area (we barely needed our car during our week!).
