The kitchen/diner is well-equipped and a pleasure to cook in - the farmhouse table is perfect for all the family to share a meal, chat into the night or plan the day’s adventures. Beautifully decorated in delicate pastel shades and with far-reaching views, the bedrooms are both on the first floor – a double room with a stylish brass bed, and a twin zip-and-link. Heading outside, the gorgeous cottage garden hosts an array of mature plants, with a table, chairs and BBQ on the lawn. Drink in the beautiful views, spot wildlife and meet the owner’s free-range chickens. The cottage is situated next to the owner’s home and privacy is assured.
A wonderful area for doggos to explore, nearby attractions include Chatsworth (14.5 miles), Crich Tramway Museum (17 miles) Peveril Castle and Treak Cliff Cavern (both 22 miles). The pretty village of Hartington has a variety of dog-friendly pubs and is a great base for exploring the Tissington Trail and the High Peak Trail with the pack. Also nearby are the bustling towns of Buxton (11 miles) and Bakewell (10.5 miles).
