The cottage is in a nice, private location. The building is full of character and felt spacious and cosy. Plenty of wildlife to see in the garden. Well positioned for the Portavadie - Tarbert ferry to cross Loch Fyne. We will return.

Lilybank is a very warm, comfortable and secluded cottage in a beautiful location. The cottage is more spacious than youd imagine from the photos and is very characterful but complete with all mod cons. We had a great stay at Lilybank. It was clean, well organised, and the seclusion is perfect. The stars are magnificent on a clear night, and we saw a Hen Harrier in the day! Our only concern is that it is advertised as having an enclosed garden, however there is an opening with no gate that leads to further woodland. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Lilybank. The setting is very secluded which suited us. It has virtually everything we needed for our stay and I loved the interesting furnishings brought back from Iran. There are no shops nearby but we found if we brought enough provisions for 3 - 4 days we could visit Dunoon for a restock.
