This is our first ever cottage based holiday where we stayed for more than a day as our kids grew up a bit for long stays. We typically selected this location due to its isolated village atmosphere and also its proximity to our planned visits for the days. The cottage was really nice, clean and tidy. We took our Labrador and it worked well. The owner had left a really good selection of basics like tea/coffee/hot chocolate as well as not skimping on things like dishwasher tablets. Walking distance to the Bulls Head which was friendly with good food and plenty of outdoor space for dogs.
