Gloriously positioned in an attractive and unspoilt part of rural Norfolk, visitors can also enjoy easy access to the sea and some beautiful, dog-friendly beaches. Lap up the sea air and relax at this cosy family cottage after a day exploring the coast. So make a picnic, grab the Frisbee and set off for some tail-chasing, heart-pumping fun!

Dust off sandy paws and sandals, or muddy paws and boots, before hanging your beach towels and coats in the hallway. The light and bright interiors of the large, open-plan sitting and dining area are complimented with views over the fields to the lighthouse. The wood burner ensures the house is cosy after long walks in the cooler months, so snuggle up on the sofa with a good book as your canine companion sprawls in front of the flickering flames, dreaming of tomorrow’s fun as the night draws in. Grab some breakfast before enjoying the fresh morning air with a stroll in the fabulous enclosed rear garden, perfect for some unsupervised play for kids and pups alike whilst the coffee kicks in! When it does, head to the communal gardens and paddocks, ideal for your furry friend with endless walks right on the doorstep.

Happisburgh beach has miles of golden sand and hours of fun on your doorstep. Wroxham (11.5 miles) is the hub of the Norfolk Broads or why not enjoy a pier stroll and fish & chips at Cromer (15 miles)? Follow the woodland trails and snuffle the undergrowth at Bacton Wood (5.5 miles) and the parkland at Felbrigg Hall (16.5 miles) and Blickling Estate (16.5 miles). Walk the coastal paths enjoying spectacular views and chase the waves at the beaches of Walcott (3 miles), Sea Palling (5.5 miles) and Waxham (6 miles).

This home has all you need was very clean and fully equipped, was lovely and quite very relaxing, if you like walking it's ideal the only downfall I suppose if I have to say a negative is only little shop that opens odd times no papers and the pub only open odd times the food wasn't great but wasn't bad both about 15 mins away .

The property was perfect for what we were looking for- a few days away from a busy city to the countryside and near a beach. Lovely lodge which is very comfortable and well equipped - there were just two of us and our golden retriever dog so we had plenty of space but the lodge can easily accommodate 4.
