Heading upstairs you will find the two restful bedrooms, a double and a single, set into the eaves with exposed ceiling beams and reduced head height. The bathroom with small bath is also on this floor. Step through the stable door from the kitchen to your unenclosed courtyard garden, perfect for enjoying an evening glass of wine.

Explore the vibrant market town of Bridport (3 miles) where you can browse the eclectic mix of shops, pick up some local produce in the street market or spot dolphins from the beach at West Bay. A lovely small but perfectly formed cottage. Great location equidistant from both village pubs which were welcoming and served good food. The cottage was very comfortable and tucked down a quiet lane with easy parking on the adjacent Church Lane. A pleasant 10 minute walk to the beach takes you to Hive Beach with a good cafe which serves yummy hot Read morechocolate and scones, and also has a little shop stocking excellent local gin! Very small property and found it very claustrophobic after a day ! not helped by small windows so had to have lights on all day. This I know is to be expected from a "cottage" but think hard before booking if you feel this might be an issue ! Great location however, walking distance to sea, and lovely walks.
