Introducing a spacious barn conversion sleeping four guests and one dog in a tranquil location deep in the North Devon countryside. Situated on a working farm, you can be at one with nature whilst enjoying a restful retreat complete with a private hot tub so you can truly unwind in the great outdoors.

The property offers a spacious feel throughout and as you step inside, you’ll find an attractive lounge with ample space to retreat to after a day of touring. The kitchen diner also offers plenty of room to cook and enjoy home-cooked meals as a group during your getaway. You will also find a convenient ground-floor WC. As you make your way upstairs, find two restful bedrooms ready for you to recharge your batteries alongside a good-sized family bathroom. Outside the property, guests can make the most of an enclosed garden complete with BBQ and furniture, with a path leading to a relaxing hot tub boasting unspoiled views of the surrounding countryside. What’s more, there is a shared children’s play area!

The village of High Bickington which is located just 1.5 miles from the property is home to a number of pubs and handy village shop. The history-rich town of Great Torrington is 6 miles away and the busy town of Barnstaple is located 11 miles from the barn. For delightful days out with your dog, travel 16 miles to visit the Exmoor National Park and just 13.5 miles to visit the coastal town of Westward Ho! where you’ll find amusements, restaurants and pubs aplenty! For dog-friendly days out, travel 14.5 miles to visit Marwood Hill Gardens or 21.5 miles to visit the historic Okehampton Castle.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The cottage is delightful, very cosy and well laid out, the hot tub makes it very special! The kitchen is well equipped and to a high standard, you could easily cook Christmas dinner there! Location is perfect for access to North Devon (Prepare yourselves for some very narrow road driving though!!) We loved the cottage and all the land that comes with it. The owners were all very welcoming and offered us advice and even made us some cakes and scones!! (Winning formula for sure!!) Great for our springer and even had a travel cot for ouRead morer baby. Lovely cottage, spacious, clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub on an evening. My 5 year old also loved the play area ad there was plenty of space for our dog to run around too!

Lee Meadow cottage was very spacious and really clean. The garden was enclosed with a hot tub and beautiful views. The cottage is rural but only about an hours drive to most good attractions in North Devon. The cupcakes made by the lovely owner were so tasty and the cream tea was really lovely. This cottage was dog friendly and child friendly, the Read moreplay area was handy to keep the kids entertained and the fields were good to exercise the dog. A perfect place to stay. Hide

The cottage was clean and in a great location for local attractions. The family were welcoming and nothing was to much to ask. They went out of their way to make our holiday special. Cakes on arrival and cream tea later in the week both very special surprises. They showed us around the farm and took the time to explain how the cows got milked. We had a fantastic week with our 2 children (aged 9 and 11) and dog. One of our best ever holidays. Cottage and surroundings were beautiful. The perfect balance between getting away from it all and being looked after (cupcakes, cream tea, local recommendations, even the loan of a bike pedal when we mislaid ours). Great location for days out (ValleyRead more of the rocks, Lynton, Tarka Trail, Granite trail, Croyde etc) and luxurious private hot tub with stunning views back at the cottage. We all loved it. Location off the beaten track! Grandchildren given rides on tractors and quad bikes. Able to watch milking and feed animals by arrangement! Beautiful area with much to visit.

I would highly recommend this cottage! We had a brilliant stay, and really enjoyed the cottage itself, the surrounding area and further afield. This is a wonderful, rural cottage. It's a bit tricky to find the first time but once you've figured it out it has amazing views, lovely and quiet and the owners are really friendly and welcoming. Could have picked a better place for. Holiday.
