The spectacular Northumberland National Park is only 3 miles away for days spent walking the beautiful landscape.

Your fabulous kitchen/diner is a cook’s dream, fully equipped with everything you need to rustle up delicious dinners. Share your meals at the large dining table looking out onto the light and bright conservatory. After a long day walking the Cheviot Hills, curl up in one of the comfortable lounge sofas to watch a movie with your hound by your feet. Heading upstairs, you will find a pretty twin bedroom with two 2’6” single beds and a lovely double bedroom. There’s also a handy office and a family bathroom on this level. Outside, your hound will enjoy stretching their paws in the fully enclosed garden where you can relax in the garden chairs and enjoy views across to the distant hills.

Sniff out the atmospheric ruins of Edlingham Castle (7 miles) or head to the hilltop fortress of Warkworth Castle (16 miles). Sniff out your favourite route through tranquil Thrunton Woods (5 miles) to discover the prehistoric fort on Castle Hill and the hidden hand-hewn cave. Enjoy a doggy paddle at one of Northumberland’s glorious beaches with Alnmouth (15 miles), Craster (17 miles) and Dunstanburgh (18 miles) all within easy reach.
