A short distance from Polruan with the coastal path nearby for keen walkers. With elevated coastal views from the property and gardens, this a perfect retreat for everyone to relax.
Set in the gorgeous Cornish countryside, this rural bolthole sleeps eight guests and two canine chums. As expected, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to wild coastal walks and long sandy beaches to explore with the hounds. You can also hop on the 15-minute passenger ferry to the picturesque town of Fowey, where you’ll find cute boutiques, ample dog-friendly eateries and possibly the prettiest harbour you’ve ever seen!
The accommodation embraces open-plan living, making it perfect for socialising. Huge windows flood the property with natural light and enable you to fully appreciate the far-reaching sea views, thanks to the idyllic elevated position. Vibrant flashes of colour add a contemporary feel to the living areas, and pastel shades create a calm ambience in the bedrooms. In the evening, snuggle up in front of the wood burner with the woofers at your feet, or on a summer’s night dine alfresco on the terrace and admire the views over the bay whilst the dogs potter around the beautiful garden.
The much-loved Hall Walk is a must if you’re staying at this property. Starting from Polruan, just 2 miles away, the 4-mile route takes you through the heart of Daphne du Maurier country towards Bodinnick. The striking views over Fowey Harbour will have you reaching for your camera, and your four-legged friends will appreciate the shady woodland sections on a hot summer’s day. Hop on the ferry to return to Polruan. There are some great beaches along the Fowey Estuary that are dog friendly all year. For rugged tranquillity head to Lantic Bay and Lantivet Bay (less than 2 miles away), or for a family-friendly day out journey to Par Sands (6 miles away), where you’ll find a lovely dog-friendly cafe and perfect conditions for paddling.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
