This delightful property nestles in a lovely tucked away location next to the owners home yet is perfectly placed just a short stroll to the golf course, amenities and Summerleaze Beach, and has been lovingly furnished to provide a comfortable home-from-home.
This spacious property sleeps four guests and one pup and is within easy walking distance of a sandy, woof-friendly beach. The cottage has a pretty garden with a lawn that the hound can play on and is perfectly placed for visiting many of North Cornwall’s top doggy attractions. The beautiful grounds and gardens of Pencarrow House are 28 miles away and are just begging to be sniffed and explored.
Enter the property via a welcoming hallway, where there’s ample room to store your walking boots and hang up the dog lead. From here, move into the gorgeous open-plan living space, which is decorated in calming tones and has tranquil sea and beachscapes adorning the walls. Hard floors run throughout, so it’s easy to deal with sandy pawprints, and there’s also plenty of room for Rover’s bed. In the evening, snuggle on the sofa in the super stylish lounge area, with your four-legged friend curled up in front of the cosy wood burner. From here, French doors lead to the enclosed outdoor area. There’s a delightful decked area under a pergola, where you can enjoy a spot of al fresco dining in the sunshine whilst your hairy pal plays on the lawn.
Summerleaze Beach, less than 0.5 miles, is right in the heart of Bude and is paw friendly all year (on leads between 10am and 6pm in summer). This sandy beach is popular with families thanks to its soft, golden sand and tidal pool. There’s also a delightful dog-friendly cafe overlooking the beach. Bude has some spectacular coast paths, with quite breathtaking views. The 3.5-mile stretch to Widemouth Bay is particularly impressive. Spend a peaceful afternoon strolling around the grounds of Pencarrow House, finished off with a doggy ice cream in the cafe.
