Head to this Highlands spot for unrivalled dog walking opportunities, where a comfortable home awaits you after a long day of hiking in the area. Perfectly set out to host a family of 14 and your four beloved bowows, this home offers welcoming lodgings for all. Enjoy peace and quiet thanks to the secluded location of the home and remarkable mountain and river views from each and every window. Whilst your pets can make themselves at home on the spacious ground floor, adults and kids alike can head upstairs and find cosy beds to rest their heads.

This grand home has been decorated with a contemporary interior throughout yet showcases snippets of Scottish culture through tartan soft furnishings or hunting lodge-style decor. We've no doubt your canine chums will go mutts for the spacious garden that greets you on arrival. This enclosed private space is ideal for letting the dog out in the evening or relaxing on a summer's day. Rest assured, this home excels in cold weather too. Set the open fire blazing and curl up in the generous lounge, an excellent space to enjoy a wee drum whilst your pets bask in the warmth.

Sniff out adventure on your very doorstep, finding the Mountain View Nature Reserve just over 300 metres from your home. Set tails wagging with long walks along the River Kingie and jaunts into the wild woodlands. Just 2 miles down the road you'll find the Munro Gleouraich, a challenging walk for both dog and master and well worth attempting throughout your stay. Those pups not afraid of a real challenge can also summit Ben Nevis, as the UK's highest mountain is only 36 miles away.

Amazing house for a large group of friends, it is massive with a large garden looking out onto the loch. There were deer in the garden one morning! It is a full size pool table which was a great way to spend a few hours in the evening. All the bathrooms and kitchen were equipped with good quality equipment. Beds were really comfortable. Just be awaRead morere, it is rather remote and no shops (or pubs!) within walking distance. Which suited us perfectly (apart from the pub part) Enjoy if you do visit! Hide

Three families spent a delightful week at the Lodge. It was located in a breath taking environment. Recommend going fishing on the Loch and turning right out of property and driving to the end of the road to the sea. Kingie Lodge is a beautifully remote, spacious lodge for a group gathering. We were 3 families traveling together (12 ppl total). The bedrooms are large and comfortable. The kitchen is very well-stocked. There were ample games for the kids to play, and the snooker table was a hit. It took us a bit of work to get the coal fire going, but I'm glad weRead more persisted. Deer on the lawn every day. Renters should know that the lodge is very remote - 20 minutes on a single track road to get to any services. Hide
