The village of Rossendale is just 3 miles away and offers a range of pubs and shops. Enjoy a gentle stroll to the nearby dog-friendly pub, popping into the intriguing antiques shop on the way, both 1 mile. Walkers will be well-catered for at the National Trust’s Gawthorpe Hall where you can join The Bronte Way or head further afield to the Forest of Bowland (30 miles) or Pendle Hill (12.5 miles). For a change of scenery, visit the cosmopolitan city of Manchester (23 miles)
