A light and airy cottage set in a beautiful complex, in the Lancashire countryside. Ideal for those looking for a break away and a good base for exploring. Sleeps 2+1

This delightful holiday cottage, located in the Ribble Valley, sleeps three in one bedroom – perfect for a family with a small child. Welcoming one canine, your four-legged friend can join you, too, and with scenic walking routes straight from the doorstep, you would be barking mad not to count Fido in on this family holiday. Set between the Peak District, Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales, adventurers, cyclists, walkers and stick-chasers alike will all be well catered for.

Enter the property into the bright and airy, open-plan living room/kitchen/diner through an enclosed courtyard. Your canine will be able to wander free in the outside space, and you won't need to worry that he may follow his nose too far. The living space has everything you need to make this delightful cottage the perfect home from home. Catch up on your favourite TV programmes, enjoy a well-deserved lie in in the cosy bedroom on the mezzanine floor, cook up a storm in the kitchen, or visit the local pub, just 1 mile away. Within the complex you can arrange the private use of the hot tub to soak, relax and unwind after a day exploring the area.

The village of Rossendale is just 3 miles away and offers a range of pubs and shops. Enjoy a gentle stroll to the nearby dog-friendly pub, popping into the intriguing antiques shop on the way, both 1 mile. Walkers will be well-catered for at the National Trust’s Gawthorpe Hall where you can join The Bronte Way or head further afield to the Forest of Bowland (30 miles) or Pendle Hill (12.5 miles). For a change of scenery, visit the cosmopolitan city of Manchester (23 miles)

Not exactly as expected, not a countryside independently owned cottage, it is a middle terraced accommodation with a different name to the one advertised on the site.
