Sleeping six guests in comfort, this cosy detached cottage is set in the heart of the fishing village of Polruan in on the south coast of Cornwall. Bring your four-legged friend along to join in on all your adventures with you and the family. Enjoy days out at some dog-friendly attractions such as Landhydrock, Bodmin Moor, Gribbin Daymark, Fowey, Looe and various National Trust properties.

This holiday home has a lovely and snug lounge area for relaxing with a film or a book as your dog sprawled out in front of the wood burner. Enjoy some great meals together in the spacious kitchen/ diner area which is a great social space for entire family to get-together. The ground floor also features a twin room with an en-suite. The garden BBQ is a second place to whip up some grilled treats for your family and the dog, there’s nothing like a holiday al fresco treat. There’s plenty of scope here to let your dog explore the nature of their surroundings too.

You won’t have to travel far to be at the heart of the action, as the village centre of Polruan is less than 1 mile from your front door. Whilst here, you can enjoy the sights of the Fowey River and even have the chance to hop aboard a ferry with your dog, which transports you across the estuary to even more shops and places and to eat.

Clean, warm, spacious and comfortable, with everything you need (including great grassy outside space for the dog). Great location but as others have said, the walk back up the hill from the quay is not for the faint hearted! But then, if you know Polruan, youll be expecting it anyway. Ideal cottage for a group booking. Minutes from the harbour ( a very steep walk!)

The cottage slept 3 adults and 2 young children very comfortably. The kitchen diner and living room were very spacious and the basic sky package was a welcome surprise. It was clean and tidy and was equipped with everything we needed. The walk to the local shops and the harbour where the foot ferry leaves from is short but very steep so the less moRead morebile will struggle. There is however a bus that goes up and down the hill every 2 hours. Views were picturesque and the coastal walks amazing Hide

Ivy Crag is a really lovely, spacious, well looked-after house that was perfect for our family of 5. It's very close to some beautiful walks along the estuary, the bustle of Fowey (if you want that), and some beautiful beaches eg. Lantic Bay. We hope to return.

Very comfortable home from home. The house is really spacious with a lovely sunny garden. All the little details have been thought of. No need to drive anywhere as there are lovely walks both from Polruan or over to Fowey on the ferry. The hill is super steep but its fun racing each other to the top! Lovely spacious and well equipped comfortable cottage - single track roads to the village can be busy and walk back up from village could be difficult for some. We had a great stay.

This is a lovely cottage, very clean and well equipped. Spacious bedrooms and a bright and airy kitchen diner. Small criticism is that you struggle to seat 6 adults comfortably in the lounge. It is situated at the top of Polruan and the walk back up is not for the faint hearted.

Wonderful holiday made special because of this cosy and comfortable cottage. Ideal base for walking no need to use cars we didn't use them all week, apart from one trip to Lancellos which was a little to far to walk there and back for our 8 year old. Well equipped local store for milk and bread and essentials. Lugger Inn on quay recommend and bookiRead moreng in advance advised. Ferry runs every 15mins excellent service.
