Couples and their canine companions will appreciate the rural location of this property as it offers the tranquillity needed to relax and switch off from the hectic pace of everyday life. Accessed down a narrow lane, this wonderful Grade II listed barn conversion offers character, comfort and convenience. Set within a conservation site consisting of woodland, wetland and heathland as well as being close to some of the Cornwall’s finest beaches, you and your pooches will get plenty of exercise and fresh sea air. And if you’re lucky, you may even find a traditional Cornish cream tea left for you by the owners.
A sympathetically converted barn, this property has many traditional features blended seamlessly with contemporary décor to create a wonderfully relaxing home. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner offers ample space for two people and two dogs, with the wood burner at the centre – perfect for snuggling up of an evening with some of your favourite treats. This quiet area of Cornwall boasts a wealth of stunning coastal scenery, which is best viewed from one of the many beautiful beaches or from the South West Coast Path. 4 miles away is the village of Sennen with its cafes, pubs and shops; from here you can walk to the most south-westerly peninsular of the British Isles, Land’s End, for that all important cliff-top selfie with your favourite pooch. Porthcurno (5 miles) is also a stunning cove with white sand and azure sea, just around the corner from the unique Minack Theatre.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
