With dramatic vistas over Loch Ailort and out towards Rhum and Eigg, this secluded holiday home is an outstanding base from which to explore the rugged north-west of Scotland.

Explore the north-western coast of Scotland from this spacious holiday home, which welcomes up to one wagging tail as well as 10 guests. Open the front door, pull on your hiking boots and enjoy walking through the property’s own scenic estate, with your happy hound bounding beside you. Make a day of it and head to the coast to while away your precious holiday time on sandy beaches, while Fido also has the time of his life.

This generous holiday home has plenty of room for you, your family and friends and your four-legged pal to enjoy a sense of space. Make the most of the large hall, where there is ample room for all your doggy gear, as well as wellies, walking boots and coats. Gather round the open fire with your best furry friend remaining at the heart of all the fun. Wander through to the adjoining sun room to take in the views and perhaps unwind with a good book, while he dozes close by. Take in the impressive views out towards Eigg and Rum while you are here. Prepare meals and feed Fido in the kitchen, with its adjoining dining area. Find one of your bedrooms and its en-suite shower room also downstairs, while the remaining four bedrooms are on the first floor. Two of these have en-suite bathrooms and two share the family bathroom.

Pack a picnic and head to the shores of Loch Ailort to paddle in the clear waters and throw balls on the beaches. Drive 4 miles to Glenuig, with its sandy beach. Stop at the local inn, where your four-legged friend is also welcome to rest his tired paws. Embark upon gentle walks close to the water or head up into the hills and Corbetts, where the views are even more spectacular.

On the positive we appreciated the books/ maps provided and had a great time exploring the local area. We didn't have to travel far to experience the marvels of the local area. We thought the upstairs was in good order but felt the living room (peeling wallpaper) and others areas as indicated above could be improved. However we did enjoy our time aRead moret this property and would recommend but would stress to friends that it looks a little tired in places Hide

Wonderful location. No shortage of holiday supplies. Colin the caretaker is very welcoming and a credit. This is our second stay here and thinks its great. Our two labradors loved it.
