Put your busy life on ‘paws’ to enjoy a memorable family get-together at this delightful detached New England-style house just outside the Edwardian resort of Seaview. Bask on glorious beaches and feel the wind in your hair, whether you have two legs or four. Sleeping up to eight humans and one dog, the property has enough space for all the family to spread out, including a large garden for games of fetch.
Inside, this elegantly decorated house benefits from plenty of natural light throughout. It has two spacious lounges, while the dining area has patio doors that open out on to the terrace for summer family BBQs. There’s also an en-suite double bedroom on the ground floor, so you never have to be too far away from your beloved hound, making them feel right at home. The other bedrooms are upstairs, and the master bedroom really has the wow factor, boasting a king-size bed, en-suite shower room, TV, dressing area and small mezzanine with desk for writing postcards about what Fido’s been up to on his hols. The back garden is fenced and gated with a patio and lawn area so your boisterous canine to play.
Walk down to the tranquil sandy beaches of Priory Bay and Seagrove Bay, where dogs have the freedom to play in the sand, retrieve balls from the sea and explore rockpools all year round. There is a beautiful shoreline here, and the Isle of Wight Coastal Path can be followed for 2 miles to St Helens and onwards to Bembridge (4 miles). You can also walk along Seaview seafront into Ryde, which offers traditional seaside fun. Dogs are welcome aboard the Isle of Wight Steam Railway (6 miles) with a special All-Day Rover ticket.
