Situated on Marine Parade, this fantastic terraced house boasts a central location in the attractive village of Instow. With a wide beach for long dog walks on the sand, a good selection of restaurants and bars for when you’d rather not cook and boat trips across the water to picturesque Appledore, Instow has lots to offer. Beyond the town, explore this beautiful stretch of North Devon from the sandy dog-friendly beaches at Croyde and Woolacombe to the bustling towns of Barnstaple and Bideford all the way to the picturesque harbour at Clovelly. Or take to the seas by jumping onboard the famous MS Oldenburg, which sets sail from Bideford to Lundy Island, home to colonies of puffins, seals and seabirds.

Wonderful week away, great property and venue. Lovely set up, organised and thought through welcome. Only reason not five stars is because of parking, if they had this it would be a full five stars.

The cottage is lovely with plenty of room for everyone. It is in a good position for car park, beach and deli. An ideal holiday home.

Wonderful house! Better equipped than any cottage we have ever stayed in, yet definitely a home-from-home. Very comfortable, clean and spacious. Perfectly positioned for exploring and wonderful restaurants (The Boathouse is fab). We loved the art work and decorative touches. The top floor lounge is amazing! I thought overall the accommodation was great, especially the top room with the views of the estuary. Only problem we had was with the early deliveries to the Deli next door! Rather noisy!

This is our second year at this property , it's absolutely perfect for us and the dogs , we only used the car once all week ! Great deli right next door , top pub 2 doors down , 1 minute to dog friendly beaches and only a few minutes to other pubs and restaurants . You are across the road from the boats to Appledore . Instow Cottage is absolutely fantastic. Its setting and views are priceless. The house has a homely and relaxed feel. Equipped with everything you could need in terms of the kitchen . Super cottage - location is 11/10. Next door to a fabulous deli and one door away from a pub. Cant get better than that. Well stocked, very comfortable beds, games room for the kids, beachs a short stroll. Garden nice - its perfect.

A beautiful property with lovely walks from the doorstep. Well equipped and tastefully kitted out with furniture plus assessories + a great position for budding photographers. The back garden was a suntrap and perfect for relaxing. Absolutely fabulous house, spotlessly clean, perfectly positioned, bedrooms comfortable and good size, lovely garden and safe for our Houdini setter . The lounge built into the roof is to die for , cant recommend this house enough we had an amazing week here . Instow is a brilliant place for a peaceful holiday and good food.

Awesome location and being next door to John's Cafe/Deli and 3 pubs/restaurants means little need to drive anywhere. Instow beach has always been a fav walking beach (lots of dogs though). A lovely cottage that was very well equipped and may nice touches. The upstairs lounge is only for the young and fit to get to but downstairs lounge is fine for Read morea smaller group. Beautiful, well designed house, with the guests in mind. Everything you could need and more is provided, to make it a home from home stay. The Cream tea, prosecco and dog treats were a lovely touch on our arrival. The house is only a one minute walk from the beach, which our dogs loved. What a lovely house in a stunning location! It fit all 7 of us with a toddler and a dog comfortably. We didn feel the need to travel as much as everything you need is literally on your doorstep. Would recommend parking at Barnstaple station and hiring bikes for a ride along the Tarka trail, stopping off 3 miles in for a bite to eat at the FremingtoRead moren Quay, then 3 miles on to Instow and beyond. Great property that has been looked after to a very high standard, I had a real worry at the thought of having to climb the steep stairs every time I wanted a refill whilst enjoying the amazing views from the upper lounge, I need not have worried the owners had included a small fridge ideal for a couple of bottles. A fantastic stay was had by all, will definitely book again. Party of 7, something for everyone, great location being just around the corner from Instow beach, very clean and comfortable. Some steep stairs to the top room & balcony but fantastic view and there's a cosy snug downstairs.
