A fantastic stay with additional dog friendly touches. Do take something to secure front gate, so you need not worry about pets or children entering the road. Parking is tricky but with patience and the occasional use of the nearby pay car park, we managed. Lovely location and super house. Very happy to stay longer if we could have!

Beautiful, well equipped cottage overlooking gorgeous Instow beach. We hired both this one and the cottage next door (Mimosa, owned by different people) and came with our wider family. Everyone had a great time. This cottage was the lovelier, much more upmarket (but also much pricier and with a slightly less amazing view) of the two. We would have Read moreliked to return but at nearly double the hire charge for next summer holidays, I think we've been priced out! Hide

What a wonderful house in a great location. Plenty of space and just the right equipment, furnishing and decor for a holiday. Really lovely stay. Our dog loved the beach. Our daughters very happy with their rooms (which is praise indeed).

Lovely house and location we enjoyed our week there. Parking can be a bit of a problem especially July and August when the time limits are enforced. The games room was great for our boys plus the bucket and spade and ball for playing on the beach is a nice touch. A good base to get to other beaches and attractions.

Lovely house in great location. If you have dogs with you please be aware that front gate is not secure and dogs could easily get hit by car. Fabulous beach loved by both humans and dogs. There were issues with local pubs due to lack of staff so cant tell you if they are any good or not! Will definitely return.

Excellent in every way. One tiny suggestion is to have two front door keys as we lived in fear of accidentally locking ourselves out as the door could lock without the key, If that can be accommodated for this would be genuinely perfect

Instow is a little out of the way, we travelled during the Covid pandemic and so the ferry across to Appledore was not running so you do have to drive everywhere. There are no shops to browse in Instow only one Deli (Johns) you cannot swim in the Estuary so to visit other beaches is at least a 20-30 minute drive. I do feel that the house is a littlRead moree overpriced. Hide
