If you fancy some quiet time catching up with a good book, then you can escape to the second lounge in the basement. The bathroom is a wonderful sanctuary-like space, offering not only a shower but also a roll-top bath which sits under a skylight, allowing you to lie back in the bubbles and gaze up at the stars.
Set just behind the sand dunes and overlooking the beach in the North Devon village of Instow, this is the perfect spot for a low-key relaxed holiday by the sea. The beach itself is an attractive stretch of sand, all of which is open to dogs during the low season, with a designated dog-friendly section throughout the year. Also in the village are several places to eat, including a pub less than 100 metres from the property’s front door. Or perhaps you’d prefer to pop into the well-stocked deli, which not only offers an excellent range of local produce, but also a broad selection of carefully selected wines.
