A quaint cottage with attractively cosy rooms, this property can sleep five guests as well as two dogs. The patio to the rear of the property is a lovely location for al fresco dining, although you may prefer to pop into the neighbouring pub – where dogs are welcome in the bar – for a bite to eat and a drink or two at the end of the day. Hunters Cottage is located in the lovely Little Wenlock with access to play park, tennis courts, family run restaurant ideal for those special meals eating out.

This barn conversion is one of four similar properties situated alongside the period inn in the Shropshire village of Little Wenlock. The property itself has a whole host of original features, including an inglenook fireplace and exposed beams, which lend the whole cottage a lovely feeling of homely cosiness. Underfloor heating in the kitchen ensures that no one gets cold toes or paws in the morning, whilst upstairs, all three bedrooms are restful spaces with the Jack and Jill bathroom accessible both from the landing and the master bedroom.

Surrounded by the beautiful Shropshire countryside and only 5 miles from Telford, you will find plenty to see and do in the area around this cottage. If you’re feeling adventurous, let your dogs take you for a walk up The Wrekin (2 miles), a 407-metre hill offering stunning views from the top. More walkies can be found on the scenic footpaths of the Severn Gorge (4.5 miles), or head out into the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Or why not take Rover on a trip on the Telford Steam Railway, 2 miles away.

A cosy and comfortable cottage in a beautifully quiet location. The food and staff in the pub were great and Peter and Karen were very kind and helpful. Will definitely be back.

Lovely cottage that's comfortable and welcoming with good facilities. The cottage is in a great location for all attractions & big towns. I would recommend a visit to Blistshill Victorian town & Ironbridge gorge. Shrewsbury is about half an hour away & is well worth a visit. This fantastic holiday property is set in the most wonderful Shropshire countryside. The Huntsman pub next door serves excellent food with local beers on tap. For our family, it proved to be the perfect base for a week of dog walks along the Ironbridge Gorge and up the Wrekin! A lovely, cosy cottage, in a great location for exploring the area. Quiet despite being next to the pub. Lovely little play area and tennis court for the children. Beautiful property that was spotlessly clean. Owner could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The food in the pub next door is outstanding. We would visit again if in the Shropshire area.

A really nice cottage with easy parking in a great location - attached to a lovely pub! The pub is welcoming and not noisy, and does great food. The cottages little garden is charming and completely private. Thoroughly recommended.

Friendly welcome. Beautiful, comfortable and quiet location that had lovely views from upstairs. Cottage was also well equipped, spotless snd inviting. We were lucky to have wonderful weather but wished we had one cold night so we could enjoy the wood burner! Lots of interesting places to visit by car nearby or a short challenging walk up the WrekiRead moren is rewarded with breath taking views. Highly recommend. Hide

Lovely well equipped cottage with The Huntsman Inn only a stroll away serving delicious food. Small Playground and green within easy reach. Great place for exploring and plenty to do with the children. Our children loved the holiday so much they didn't want to leave. Blist Hill Museum, Hoo Zoo & Dinosaur World, Shrewsbury with lots of beautiful chuRead morerches and a boat trip, Bridgnorth is lovely with its Steam Railway, Cliff Railway and Beautiful castle gardens with lovely views. This was a lovely, cosy cottage which was perfect to return to after a busy day exploring the local surroundings. We attended the Birmingham Commonwealth games and would highly recommend this cottage to stay at for any major events in and around Birmingham, the motorway is easily accessible and provides easy access to travel into Birmingham. The loRead morecation provides a tranquil place to reset after the hustle and bustle of the city. The Huntsman's pub is also a must for a fantastic Sunday lunch. Hide

We had a lovely stay at Hunters cottage, it was comfortable and clean with most things available that you would need for a holiday. The huntsman Inn pub / restaurant is lovely and seems to be very popular. The owner, staff and locals are very helpful and friendly. Sadly we couldn't use the nearby field for our dog to have a run but did find some niRead morece walks around the village. We would definitely stay again. Many thanks. Hide

A lovely little cottage, which was really well equiped and super clean. A little tight downstairs for 5 people, but plenty of space upstairs and in the sun-trap courtyard outside. The cottage is close to the pub in the village, but far enough away not to be disturbed. Food excellent in the restaurant and from the bar menu.
