The ground-floor cottage boasts an open plan lounge, well-equipped kitchen and diner offering a bright and airy space to kick back and relax following a day out and about in the countryside. The two, character bedrooms offer plenty of space to enjoy a restful night’s sleep. Guest can also make the most of the spacious, modern bathroom. Outside, guest can enjoy a large shared courtyard area and a terrace with seating, perfect for taking in the views on those warmer evenings.

The property is located just 7.5 miles from the popular market town of Kirkby Stephen, home to fantastic shopping facilities and pubs. The property lies between the Southern boundary of the North Pennies and the northern side of the Yorkshire Dales, so when it comes to walking, riding, and other outdoor pursuits, the choice is yours on where to start. For a dog friendly attraction, head 45.5 miles to Settle and hop on the Settle to Carlisle Railway. Please note, in July and August transport is essential to get up and down the track to the property because of the cows in the fields surrounding the property.

Very welcoming, excellent accommodation. Wonderful views, lovely garden including monkey swing which our children really enjoyed. Easy access for Fell walking, and near local amenities and Settle & Carlisle railway (Kirkby Stephen). Accommodation is conveniently 5 miles East of M6.

Quiet location with a lovely garden, with a good variety of birds that came to feed. A car is a must if you want to visit the many places of interest.

This was a lovely cosy cottage located in a quiet area but very accessible. Handy for the Lakes and North Yorks Moors, we had days out to Ambleside and Penrith during our short break, and there are some really nice shops, pubs and cafes in nearby Kirkby Stephen

Lovely cottage with great views, a warm welcome from our hosts, beautiful garden to relax in, patio to eat al fresco, good location for the Lakes, Dales & Pennines, easy access from M6 or A1, we had a fantastic week and will visit again.
