Set in the beautiful old town of Hastings in Sussex, this impressive house sleeps ten people across five bedrooms. Sure to set tails wagging, it is a real treat – not just for you, but your four-legged friend, too. While the humans chat over a glass of wine, Fido will be spoilt for choice between the sweet smells emerging from the cooker, the peace and quiet of the enclosed courtyard or the warmth of the wood burner. Meanwhile, the children can enjoy the cinema experience with a 6ft projector screen, Apple TV and a sound system. Just a short stroll from several dog-friendly pubs, dining out together is an easy option, too.

This pleasant property offers space, stylish decor and a boutique hotel feel, decorated with vibrant colours and carefully selected furniture. There is fabulous dining space for family get-togethers, a large kitchen and a charming courtyard for alfresco dining. The spacious lounge will accommodate the whole family as you come together to discuss your day of adventures – not forgetting the cinema room, too! With five lavish bedrooms to choose from, you’ll be racing up the stairs at the end of the day.

Just a short stroll will take you to the restaurants, antique shops, cafes and the award-winning Hastings Contemporary Art Gallery. After a gentle amble along the high street to the seafront, reward your four-legged friend with a run on the sandy beach. Stick to the west part though, where there are zero dog restrictions. Take a trip on the East Hill Funicular Railway (0.5 miles) and soak up the views from Hastings Country Park. Further afield, Herstmonceux Castle has an impressive dog-friendly policy throughout the estate (15 miles).

  • 5 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £500 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £50. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

A very beautiful house which is extremely well equipped. The only downside is the lack of parking outside. The position within Hastings was excellent and the comfort of the beds etc was very good.

The house is beautiful, the detail that has gone into the design is so apparent and runs through every floor. It pretty much has everything for 10 people which was great for us as a family holiday and the location is excellent. Fair warning to any of those that struggle with steps and hills, we walked the surrounding hills every day to the main towRead moren and then lots of steps in the house, especially to the top floor! What a great house for a social gathering. It's so quirky and colourful that you can't help but have a good time. We even had some sunshine despite the appauling forecast. It is well kitted out in terms of comfy beds and great showers and all mod cons in the kitchen too. It's a long way up that top floor but the views are amazing from the first floRead moreor and up. I can recommend Bells bike hire in Hastings and we had the most amazing meal at Farmyard in St Leonards. Thanks for a great stay! Hide

I stayed here with my family and friends for my 30th birthday and it was a true delight. The pictures you see online are amazing but it doesnt truly capture the essence of the home. Hands down the best property I have ever stayed in the UK. The house is incredibly interesting, attention to style amazing, I could have spent hours just wandering around.
