A very comfortable, warm cottage. It's position so close to the Globe Inn is a distinct advantage as they do excellent food. The beaches of North Devon are within reach , good for dog walking at the moment as the local walks were very muddy.

This was the perfect cottage for our Christmas break, warm and cosy, really well equipped and walking distance to the friendly village pub. There were also some lovely additional touches such as tea, coffee, milk and biscuits on arrival and a full basket of logs for the woodburner. Only slight downside was the upstairs loo was not working. We wouldRead more definitely come back again. Hide

The cottage is set off the road up a bridle way making it very secure should a dog manage to escape ! Beds very comfortable with beautiful bedding. Garden a little haven to sit out in with a glass of wine. Perfect location to explore North Devon. Very nice pub five minutes walk. Fully equipped, spotlessly clean, can't praise it enough.

The cottage was exactly as described. Well equipped, clean and big enough for 3 of us and the dog.The location is fantastic in the heart of a friendly village. Local walks are on the doorstep as is the Local Pub, The Globe, where the greeting and food are excellent and if you like your Ales there's a great choice. If you are taking a dog the GardenRead more is fully enclosed and big enough for a run around or walk to the top of the lane for off lead fields. Well worth a visit. Hide

It's a lovely 400 year old cottage, remember to duck past those low beams because back then people weren't that tall . The place was that nice we didn't want to leave.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hoopers Cottage over the Xmas period. Such a peaceful and cosy place with everything you could need.
