Set near the heart of the pretty coastal village of Blakeney, this comfortable cottage makes a delightful holiday home for a family or group wanting to enjoy the Norfolk countryside and coastline.
This contemporary, detached house in the charming, coastal town of Blakeney on the Norfolk Coast (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) offers families, friends and their four-legged friends a wonderful base from which to explore the local area. Blakeney has interesting historic buildings, independent shops, art galleries and a variety of pubs/restaurants and cafes all on your doorstep. There are lots of opportunities for walkies from nature reserves to beaches to the coast path with plenty of places to eat, drink and rest your legs in local towns and villages.
This attractive property is well-presented with modern furniture, a neutral palette and hints of warm wooden tones throughout to create a homely, but stylish, feel. Whilst your canine companion settles in the lounge with the wood burner, two-legged guests have two lounges to choose from. The light and spacious kitchen/diner is the perfect place for rustling up some treats and socialising. Upstairs, there are three good-sized, beautiful bedrooms: two king-size (can be made up as twins) and one double. There is one en-suite and one family bathroom. Double doors in the lounge and kitchen lead out to the immaculate enclosed garden/patio.
Blakeney National Nature Reserve is within the North Norfolk Coast AONB and has an array of migratory birds and its own seal colony. You can visit the seals on a boat trip from Morston Quay (1.5 miles). The 45-mile long Norfolk Coast Path, connecting Holme-Next-the-Sea (22 miles) in the west to the town of Cromer (14 miles) in the east with its crabbing, historic pier and sandy beach, allows you to get up closer to the wildlife and scenery. It also allows you to visit plenty of other seaside towns/villages along the way. Please note: in some places, there may be restrictions on dogs due to nesting birds.
