Tucked away in a secluded location just a short walk from the beach, this beautiful detached cottage is a peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With plenty of room for a large family or a group of friends, up to six guests and two of their four-legged friends can gather together and explore this stunning part of the country, enjoying days filled with seaside adventures and evenings spent relaxing in the hot tub.

Walking into the cottage through the rear of the property, you’ll pass the hot tub situated on the enclosed decking before stepping through patio doors into a modern, open-plan lounge/dining room. A huge oak table takes centre stage in the dining space and would comfortably seat six for a sociable evening dinner. The kitchen is a chef’s delight with contemporary curved units and jet-black marble worktops creating a modern space to whip up tasty meals while Fido sniffs around for treats. The three bedrooms are cosy and comfortable, one with an en-suite shower room and lovely sea views.

Westward Ho! is a picturesque village packed with fun activities that everyone will enjoy – especially the canine members of your party. Located between Saunton Sands and Hartland Point, Westward Ho! beach is vast and sandy but backed by a pebble ridge that extends for 2 miles north of the village. Dogs are allowed on any part of the beach between 1st October and 30th April, with some sections welcoming four-legged friends all year round. The shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants in the village are less than 1 mile from the property while the beaches at Instow (5 miles) and Saunton Sands (18 miles) welcome waggy tails every day of the year.

We stayed beginning of December for a week..We had a couple of glorious days that the 3 dogs totally enjoyed the beach and the other days walking the streets and Burrows..A fantastic stay lovely and clean house and bonus with a cream tea ingredients in fridge on arrival..The hot tub was to die for..every night in it..

Homestar at Westward Ho! was very clean, warm and comfortable. Good parking and dog friendly. It is well placed for the beach and shops. The owners made it ready at short notice after we had to be moved from our original holiday home, we had a very chilled out week. Would definitely come back.

Great bungalow with an ideal location, short stroll to all shops and restaurants. Across the road a little walk and youre on the beach! Lovely indoors and out. We spent time outside having a barbecue & in the hot tub! The lounge & bedrooms were a great size for all 6 of us, with lots of extras in every room! Second year running staying at Homestar. Fantastic location, really lovely house. Very clean and well equipped. Very spacious, has everything you need for a stay in Devon. Would highly recommend this property and we will certainly be back again.

Our 3rd visit in less than 2 years. A great base for us to visit family. There is a Tescos a short walk away, but recommend you go earlier in the day during busy periods as they do run out of essentials. A lovely and spacious property, just a few minutes walk from amenities and beach. Space to sit out at front and rear of property was nice, plus bonus of hot tub. Would recommend Instow beach for dogs and Tarka trial if you fancy a lovely traffic free bike ride. Also visited Clovelly, Appledore and Bideford locally.

A great location to the beach and town, with a flat 5-10 minute walk. The bedroom upstairs worked really well for my parents to be away from the grand children. The kitchen was well equipped. There was plenty of living space for the 6 of us.

Lovely cottage, perfect location. Parking was tight for two large cars side by side but enough room to park one across the other. Please note there are three steps up to the front door. this was not something I had considered and caused a few problems for my blind dog with mobility problems. We had a thoroughly brilliant time staying in Homestar. The cottage is beautiful, very well maintained and equipped; very spacious and in a perfect location. I can't fault the stay and look forward to going back again one day.

Excellent location, lovely house to stay in with the added benefit of the hot tub. The best self catering facility, lots of equipment in the kitchen to make family meals and do laundry. You really cant go wrong with this accommodation. Its perfectly located in the village of Westward Ho! and the beach, which is just a short walk away. The property owners are super responsive and more than happy to assist in any questions you may have during your stay, making your holiday experience fantastic. Faultless! Wonderful property situation a short walk from the Burrows in Westward Ho! Two downstairs bedrooms which would accomodate those less able bodied, also downstairs bathroom. Lovely double bedroom upstairs with en-suite. Ample parking space. Really enjoyed our stay at Homestar. It felt like home from home with the added luxury of a big hot tub which the kids loved. A lovely property, very close to the main sea front of Westward Ho. We have had a really fabulous week where we relaxed in the hot tub and had everything we needed at the house to unwind. We ate at some of the local restaurants and also had a Chinese takeaway. Our dogs loved the local beach and we also travelled to Appledore, Bideford, Bude and WesRead moretward Ho was great for when we didn't want to drive. The location is excellent, the cottage was very spacious for a family of 5. Maybe needs the bed frames tightening up to stop any noise but beds are comfy.
