The property, which is conveniently located on the A40 with easy access to Abergavenny (7 miles) and Brecon (13 miles), is bright and airy with lots of rustic charm. The open-plan living space is filled with light, but becomes a cosy haven in the evenings where you can snuggle up on the sofa or in an armchair as the pup snoozes by your feet. Hire a boat for the day from Beacon Park Boats (2.5 miles) where the dog will love looking out at the wildlife as you glide down the canal. Dogs are also welcome to accompany you to discover the history of the Blaenavon Ironworks (11 miles); pair your trip with a ride on the Pontypool and Blaenavon Railway from High Level Station (11.5 miles). If you want some inspiration for short dog-friendly walks, the Brecon Beacons National Park Visitor Centre (18 miles) is a great starting point and there’s even a tearoom for a bite to eat.
