With pretty rural views from the windows, a TV, coal-effect electric fire and comfortable seating, the lounge is perfect for sitting back and catching up with a TV show or a good book. The dining table is ideal for a romantic meal, and the bright and fully equipped kitchen is a pleasure to cook in. The simply decorated bedroom features twin beds and is adjacent to the bathroom which is complete with a shower over the bath and a WC. There’s also plenty of storage space and room to clean muddy paws. You will have access to the beautiful garden which has plenty of space for your canine companion to exercise, though please note there are sheep in the neighbouring fields.
This is a wonderful area for keen walkers, with plenty of dog-friendly pubs dotted along the way. The picturesque village of Hawkshead (1.5 miles) lies at the head of Esthwaite Water, with Windermere a little further on (5 miles to the Claife Viewing Station). Dogs are welcome at local attractions including the grounds at Wray Castle (3.5 miles), Lakeland Motor Museum (11 miles) and Grizedale Forest (4 miles).
