This tranquil detached bungalow is situated on a hillside with scenic rural and sea views. It makes the ideal holiday destination to spend with your whole family as there is room for up to six guests plus two of your canine companions. Take the chance to relax in the private hot tub or enjoy the rear garden stretching to one-acre of space, perfect for those stick-chasers!

This stylish single-storey property is light but cosy. The lovely dual aspect lounge comes with stunning views over the local countryside to the sea, perfect to kick back and relax with your four-legged pal while watching TV in the evening. Take in the views by the pretty window seat in the dining room. There is a breakfast room, perfect for more informal meals or a great place for children to eat. All bedrooms are light and include their own tastefully-styled colours. There’s no need to worry about your canine companion having enough space to run around in with the almost large rear garden, as well as a goalpost perfect for a kick about with the kids (there is a separate holiday accommodation on the same site, however, this would not encroach on the use of Highlands). For the ultimate chance to relax and take in the idyllic surroundings, there is a private hot tub. 

The seaside resort of Woolacombe is within walking distance from the property and boasts a three-mile-wide sandy beach, ideal for both beginner and expert surfers; there’s the opportunity to take lessons at the Woolacombe Surf Centre. Why not find a bite to eat and browse the shops after spending time at the beach? Further afield, there are many dog-friendly beaches including Putsborough (2.5 miles) or Saunton (7.5 miles). The popular harbour town of Ilfracombe is 4.5 miles away, offering lovely walks for you and your dog.

  • 3 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £30. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Great few days away, kitchen was great with everything you could need. Really nice gesture with the bottle of prosecco and box of biscuits, made our arrival that much better! Would definately book again

We had a great holiday, and the property was almost perfect for our requirements - two adults, three children and dog. Great location and table tennis table and hot tub were enjoyed by all. Only challenge was that although a large section of the garden is enclosed, you have to walk a few metres to get there, so it's only secure for dogs/children ifRead more you shut the main driveway gate. Lovely comfortable bungalow with beautiful views down the valley to the sea. Hot tub was amazing after a day on the beach. The table tennis was well used by the whole family.

The location of the property and view is great. The house and gardens need updating and tlc. The road outside is very busy and unsafe to walk along with children or animals. Having returned still not sure if the garden is secure for animals and having other people walking through the garden to the caravan gives no privacy and obviously could upset Read moreand dogs. All in all not value for money and just disappointed with the property. We will not book this property again. Hide

Lovely location, lovely views from the hot tub, which was well used whilst we were there. Woolacombe is a lovely location and most shops down in the village are adequate for a holiday stay. The Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway is a must also the many sea excursions from Ilfracombe .

Great week spent at Highlands, we were impressed with the bungalow and the land that the property stood on. The enclosed garden was great for our dog and the place was very clean and tidy. Thanks for making our holiday great. Hopefully see you next year .
