Find everything you need in this charming coastal cottage, enjoying a traditional stay with your nearest and dearest – including the dogs! This lovely cottage happily sleeps up to six guests, and two canine companions can make themselves at home in the cosy lounge. After a long day of coastal walkies and exploring the Northumberland AONB, unwind in the comfortable indoor spaces or the cheerful private garden.

The decor of this cottage has been kept traditional throughout, creating a welcoming home from home and a place to call your own. Enjoy the charm of original feature fireplaces when relaxing in both living and dining rooms. Guests both young and old will appreciate both of these spaces having TVs. Let children sit down to a film on Now TV whilst mum and dad enjoy some peace and quiet in the cosy dining room. Fido and Rover will no doubt be found curled up at your feet, resting after a long day of fetching and hunting for sticks. Leave pups to snooze and retire to bed. Three bedrooms include one king-size master, a twin and a further, smaller twin suitable for two children or one adult.

The village of Seahouses ticks all the boxes for a traditional seaside stay, with local pubs, busy harbour and quality fish and chip shops all within half a mile. Just 1 mile along the coast you’ll find a beautiful sandy beach that welcomes both dogs and families, all year round. After stopping off for a splash in the sea, head onwards to Bamburgh Castle (3.5 miles). Your canine companion can stay with you in the castle grounds, aviation museum and on-site cafe and bar – the perfect location to while away an afternoon. Look out to sea to spot seals, puffins and even dolphins on the horizon.

Large, spacious cottage, felt very homely and was lovely and warm, plenty of room for a family and dog friendly is a bonus, a bit old fashioned but it suited the style, short walk to harbour and shops, would definitely book again.

House in general was tired and needed updating , the kitchen utensils were very limited and old . A mismatch of various cutlery, crockery and glasses . The welcome pack was very poor. Hardly worth the effort. Garden was over grown and uninviting. Nothing there to sit on. In advert there was a garden seat. This was the worse property I have stayed iRead moren since the 1980s when the expectation was very basic. Money definitely needs to be spent on it and it really could be lovely. Position was great.
