A prettily finished ground floor studio apartment, this makes a great choice if you are looking for a couples’ retreat which welcomes dogs. The layout means that your faithful friend need never be far from your side, whilst the spacious shared gardens extend to 1 acre, offering plenty of space to spend relaxed leisure time outdoors.
This ground floor apartment is one of two at this quiet location on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. It would be a great space for either a couple or two couples travelling together who would prefer the privacy of renting separate apartments and yet still be able to spend time together. The apartment has been laid out in a studio-style arrangement, with the sleeping area to one side of the room, raised slightly one step up from the rest of the room. The whole apartment has a bright and contemporary feel to it, with a comfy sofa and well-equipped kitchen area. Just next to the door of the property, a small patio area is a pleasant space for al fresco drinks, beyond which there is 1 acre of lawned gardens.
Situated in the small village of Cudlipptown on the western edge of Dartmoor, a stay at this property allows you to enjoy many miles of stunning walks within easy reach. 1.5 miles down the road, the neighbouring village of Peter Tavy is home to a well-regarded 15th-century pub which offers a cosy place to unwind after a day of walking on the moor whilst your dogs rest their legs curled up by your feet. Tavistock (4 miles), with its array of shops, is just the place to stock up on supplies, whilst to the south of the property, there are numerous beaches on the Devon and Cornwall coasts which can be reached within a 20-mile drive of the apartment.
