A newly renovated bungalow in 2020 only a short drive away from the traditional seaside towns of Skegness and Mablethorpe.
This beautiful bungalow, less than 0.5 miles from a fabulous dog-friendly beach, sleeps seven guests and one canine companion. Before breakfast, take a gentle stroll along the promenade at Chapel St Leonard, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of this less well-known resort. Alternatively, for traditional seaside fun, hop in the car and head to Skegness (7 miles away), where the pup can join you on the beach, the pier and in the arcades.
This gorgeously-presented property is modern and spacious, offering a relaxing base for you and your best friend. The large lounge area has ample room for the whole party to spread out and enjoy the views over the garden. In summer, throw open the doors and let Fido potter in and out. The kitchen/diner is a great social space, with a large dining table to enjoy evening meals together as a group. There’s also a peaceful second lounge, where the hound can retreat if all the socialising gets a bit too much! Make the most of the immaculate enclosed garden with a spot of al fresco dining, whilst your four-legged pal plays on the lawn.
You can walk for miles along the sand and shingle beach at Chapel St Leonard. Apart from a small dog restriction on the main part of the beach in summer, the rest of the area is a pet-welcoming zone, with ample space for off-lead shenanigans. If you fancy heading inland, you will find plenty to get tails wagging in the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There’s a fantastic 7-mile walk you can do from Fulletby (21.5 miles away) to Belchford. It follows the Viking Way and is particularly striking in summer, when the fields are awash with vibrant red poppies.
